Course Description
You can now retake failed CompEx Ex01-04 practical assessments at GSS Training. Learners who have previously failed to meet the assessment criteria, either at GSS or other providers, can retake within 12 months of the original CompEx Electrical assessment.
What certificate will i receive?
Candidates who are successful in both the theory and practical assessments will receive a CompEx certificate in core competence.
What is the duration of the course?
2 days of assessment
What are the entry requirements?
Delegates must have failed the theory element of the CompEx Electrical course (within the last 12 months)
Be in possession of the fail-sheet from the original exam, which must be brought to the resit Had no more than 2 attempts to resit the theory since the original assessment.
What does the course cover?
Learners MUST resit within 12 months of the original CompEx Electrical assessment, and are allowed a maximum of 2 resit attempts.
How is the course assessed?
Assessment is undertaken using both practical assessments and an online examination that covers the four separate CompEx units.
Online Exam
Learners must undertake a multiple-choice online examination that consists of 60 questions answered over 1.5 hours
Practical Assessments
Learners are required to undertake for practical assessments (one per unit):
- Ex01 - 3 hours 45mins
- Ex02 -1 hour 30 minutes
- Ex03 - 3 hours
- Ex04 - 1 hour 15 minutes
